Smashburger

Smashburger gets their name because of how they prepare their burger – they roll the meat into meatballs and literally ‘smash’ them for grilling – which makes them very juicy and delicious!   You can order any of their burger specialties, or create your own.  And you must try their fried pickles – they are excellent. They have fast and friendly customer service too.

The Squeeze Inn

If you have not been to The Squeeze Inn yet – you gotta check it out.  This place is really a legend in the Sacramento area, and Roseville has it’s own location serving up their famous burgers with cheese ‘skirts’. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is friendly.  They have an interesting ceiling – it’s covered in the tiny toothpicks that come with your burger.  The staff has even been known to show customers how to use a straw to launch the toothpicks into the ceiling like darts.

Five Guys

This is a great burger place, comparable to In N’ Out Burger, but Five Guys offers a larger menu and bigger portions (huge, really).  They use the freshest of ingredients, and their bacon cheeseburger is delicious and when you order fries you get a bagful!  They have been voted for Best Burger and Best Fries across several states – definitely a yummy place to check out in Roseville.

The Habit

This is one of my favorite burger places in the Roseville area. No matter what I order there, it’s always perfect. Their charburger (and double charburger) are amazing – and you can always make it even more amazing by adding bacon and avocado. They also have other great choices like their chicken club and albacore tuna sandwiches, lots of salad choices, and even chicken nuggets for the kids. I am not usually a fan of onion rings, but I LOVE their onion rings! You can even get an order of ½ fries and ½ onion rings. They have fast and friendly staff, and an outdoor seating area as well. This is an absolute must visit restaurant for burger fans.

Islands Restaurant

Islands Restaurant Fine Burgers and Drinks lives up to it’s name! This restaurant has a great atmosphere and island feel.  They have a large menu that includes not only burgers, but great salads, tacos, bowls, as well as  gluten-free and lower calorie options.  I always tend to get a burger when we go, but one of my other favorite dishes is their Mahi Mahi Tacos.  They have outdoor seating, TV’s located all around, and a great bar area too.
