The Sandwich Spot
Terrific lunch spot and my favorite place for a sandwich! They have simply amazing food, with lots of custom choices and hot sandwich options. Try the Viking, the smoked tri-tip, or the Pastrami Rueben with one of the local beers they offer. The Dutch Crunch bread is always perfect. The staff is friendly and work really fast during the lunchtime rush. Stay and play shuffleboard and foosball.

Boudin SF
Located at the Fountains in Roseville, Boudin SF is a great place for soups, salads, and sandwiches. They bake their own bread, a great variety, which is super fresh and yummy. I love their soup and salad combo – and one of my favorite combos to order is the Clam Chowder in their sourdough bread bowl and the Italian Chop Salad. And of course, there’s nothing wrong with creamy tomato soup and a good grilled cheese! If you have their frequent diner’s card you can get free loaves of sourdough bread to take home with you. They have comfortable indoor seating, and two nice outdoor patios to enjoy. The staff is friendly, and they bring your order to your table for you. They also have free Wi-Fi.

The Nugget Market in Roseville is not only a fabulous grocery store stocked with the highest quality fresh, healthy, and organic products, there is also a wonderful deli and bakery. Everything is always so clean and organized. They have a delicious salad bar and plenty of sandwich choices with great bread options, and tons of different side options. The staff provides excellent customer service and is very helpful. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and they even have free Wi-Fi.

Vernon Street Grill and Deli
This is a great neighborhood grill offering good soups and sandwiches for an affordable price. Their menu consists of burgers, sandwiches, cheesesteaks, salads, and we can’t forget the hot wings. The hot wings are a favorite with customers. I really like their Italian Steak Sandwich with garlic fries or fried zucchini. This is a nice casual place, with excellent customer service. They also have outdoor seating. Great place to do lunch if you’re in Downtown Roseville. This is also where locals go to get sandwiches before they go to Folsom Lake for boating. The people behind the counter are very friendly. Get your favorite sandwich here!

Mitsuko’s Cafe and Deli
This is a unique deli in that they offer a great variety of hamburgers, hot and cold sandwiches, in addition to a delicious variety of Japanese dishes. They also have a breakfast menu. Everything I have tried has been delicious – my favorites so far have been the Honey Mustard Chicken, which comes with rice and salad, and the Grilled Turkey Bacon Cheese sandwich. They place is comfortable and clean. They have nice sized portions for great prices. The staff is always very polite and friendly. This is a great place to visit that has something for everyone.
