They offer the GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) program, which provides a different approach to learning through complex and critical thinking. This school offers the GATE Academy for high achieving students. Students can also participate in Library Study Club, an independent after school study program held in the library where they can have access to a quiet place to work and the resources they need. Olympus Junior High has been excelling in the performance of the students there, with consistently great scores. They offer Math Lab everyday which gives the students extra study time and help. They have integrated technology into the classrooms well and even have some textbooks available online. They have a great writing program and an active student council, as well as the GATE Program.

Buljan participates in the AVID College Readiness Program, which helps students prepare for higher learning and being committed to success after education. There is a Homework Club that meets in the library that conducts group study sessions. There are a number of great extra curricular activities and clubs such as Gardening, Guitar, Drama, Zoology, Fitness, and a Scholarship group that will help your student with finding and submitting applications to scholarships for college. GATE Academy is also available.

Chilton utilizes a character building culture based on the book “7 Habits of Highly Effective People”–a program also used by large companies and colleges. Eich is the only one middle school in Placer County that offers the The International Baccalaureate Programme, which develops communication skills, international understanding, and global engagement in academic challenges.
